Dashwood pupils support their peers competing in the Obstacle Relay

Sportshall Athletics2North Oxfordshire School Sports Partnership Sportshall Athletics Competition
9th February 2017

100 Year 5 and 6 students from Banbury Academy’s family of primary schools enjoyed a morning of athletics on Thursday 9th February.

Our Dashwood pupils took part in both field and track events which were run by Banbury Academy students.

The competition was aimed at well-motivated children in Years 5 and 6 which created a very competitive atmosphere!  After a series of hotly contested track and field events, our super team came third overall.

There were many outstanding individual performances throughout the morning but what was most pleasing, was the teamwork support that all pupil displayed.

Left: High-Five for a great relay run! 1st place achieved!
