    Some children in year 6 have finished their geography topic off by having a tea party! Children have spent time this term looking at local geography and discussing where they live. They have also been studying the geography of The United Kingdom They were excited to receive a postcard addressed from London so decided to host their own tea party fit for the queen! Read more

  • Cross Country

    60 pupils from Year 1 - 6 competed in the North Oxfordshire School Sports Partnership Cross Country event at Wykham Park Academy. After a through warm-up, our pupils ran their race with enthusiasm and determination with every pupil crossing the finish line. Well done to Harmony (Year 3) and Beau (Year 4) who both finished in the top 30 runners of their races. Read more

    We would like to say a massive thank you to all the parents/carers who attended our showcase event. Every topic we cover this year will be linked to a ‘driving question’. This helps shapes the knowledge and skills taught. Pupils in Years 1-6 spent their first two weeks finding out how they could make this their best year at Dashwood and then showcased this to their parents/carers, staff and peers. There was so much variety in how these were presented. We are looking forward to putting all their plans into action over the coming terms! Read more
