    Year 6 were delighted to take part in theatre workshops with the Cherwell Theatre Company. The session focused on the important issue of transition as our pupils consider their moves to secondary school. The session included activities for pupils introducing themselves calmly and with confidence when they meet new people and getting to know new people through three simple steps - to listen, to focus and to concentrate.   • 'Chance to Shine'

    'Chance to Shine'

    Years 4,5,6 have enjoyed an assembly led by cricket coach Zoe Pugh from the Oxfordshire Cricket Board 'Chance to Shine' programme. The assembly was focused on the theme of 'rivalry' and 'playing hard, playing fair'. This was illustrated through the England World Cup win and reflected on how both teams, New Zealand and England, would have felt through the highs and lows of the competition. Pupils learned the importance of developing their character through sport: being respectful to opponents, shaking hands and congratulating the winning team whilst showing respect to the losing side.
