Term 4

We will be publishing what we are learning during each term throughout the year. Watch this space to see what is happening in Term 4 in and out of the classroom and for useful information for Peach and Pear classes.

Peach and Pear classes have been learning about the continent of Africa. They have been finding about the animals that they might find on a safari and writing some simple non-fiction animal fact files.

Their class story is Handa’s Surprise and the children had a lot of fun exploring the fruit from the story using different senses.

Many pupils showed their adventurous side by tasting some types of fruit for the first time. Music lessons have involved exploring rhythms and beats using instruments and experiencing different traditional compositions from various regions across Africa.
