Lest We Forget

It was lovely for Dashwood to once again be part of Banbury’s Remembrance Sunday Parade. Dashwood, Harriers and Wykham Park are the only schools that are invited to lay a wreath, at the cenotaph in People’s Park, on behalf of all schools in the town.  It is always a poignant day and one we are very proud and honoured to be part of.

All of our pupils marked Remembrance Day on 11th November by making a whole school poppy display as a sign of respect; each class has chosen a different way of creating their poppy.
