Maple Class visit the Tower of London

Maple class had a fabulous day trip to the Tower of London. They explored the castle and learnt about its history and considered its location in London, in preparation for their geography studies when they returned to school.

Chalk drawings by Maple Class

For our T4W book this term we studied Chalk. In the book, drawings come to life. The children got the opportunity to draw something that they wished would come to life. It was wonderful to see their imaginative creations.

Maple class took part in a scavenger hunt, where they had to follow clear directions to find all the clues and complete the hunt, as an introduction to our Geography topic. The children really enjoyed the challenge.
