Term 3

Creative curriculum
As part of our creative curriculum in term 3 we have explored Roman inventions. We first investigated different Roman inventions and how they have impacted Roman and modern-day Britain. We then chose an invention to research further and created videos to show our findings. To do this we collaborated to turn our research into scripts and then filmed and edited our videos.
Discovering the Romans
Year 4 are really enjoying learning about the Romans. We have learnt all about the development of the Roman Empire and made Roman shields and marched into battle. We have also discovered that they were great inventors and are making an iMovie to explain how their inventions impact us today.
Reporting the News
In Literacy we have been writing a newspaper report and then typing it up on the computers for a professional presentation.
