Term 5

We will be publishing what we are learning during each term throughout the year. Watch this space to see what is happening in Term 5 in and out of the classroom and for useful information for Plum class.

So far in Term 5…Plum class have been helping some of the new children to settle into class and showing them all the exciting resources on offer. Those pupils who are moving to Reception in September have been practising their maths and mark-making skills to support their transition to be school ready by the summer.

Forest School Fun

Nursery children in Plum class have had lots of fun using the parachute during their forest school session. They played lots of games which involved listening to and following instructions.

Plum Class are using the story ‘Sharing a Shell’ to teach Plum Class pupils all about sharing. Just as they are growing, pupils need to learn how to make sure they think of others and not just their own needs.

Jasmine, a Plum Class pupil told us: ‘We are learning to share. I feel excited about this because at the start of the story ‘Crabby Crabby’ did not have a home but someone shares with him.’

Amelia: ‘I like sharing a shell with my friends; it makes me happy to see them happy.’
