Learning all about microorganisms

Year 6 have been learning all about microorganisms this term. They have enjoyed their learning so far, especially as it links very closely with the pandemic. They have been looking at the different type of microorganisms (virus, fungi, bacteria) and have been looking at how they can be harmful or helpful.  We have discussed ways in which we can help keep ourselves clean and healthy and how they can stop (or slow down) the spread of superbugs. Pictured here are some of the pupils creations – They made their own microbe and decided if it were harmful or helpful.
