Learning all about microorganisms

Year 6 have had an amazing start to Term 4 and have been enjoying our science unit on microbes.

We have been finding out all about the different types of microorganisms, how they can be both helpful and harmful, designing our own microbes and testing the best conditions for growing mould.

During Literacy, we have been working on creating cohesion within our writing and how to write effective dialogues.

In Maths, we have been focusing on ratio, units of measure and shape and solving problems involving these.
